FL350 Front Disc Brake Conversion - Full Kit
Important Fitment & Bleeding Notices:
- Wheel Clearance Requirement: This kit will NOT fit factory stock Odyssey drum wheels. Modern aftermarket wheels are required to provide sufficient inner barrel clearance for the calipers and rotors.
- Banjo Bolt & Knuckle Clearance Check: After bolting everything together, verify that the front hub spins freely by hand. If the hub binds or resists turning, it indicates an alignment issue caused by the banjo bolt/brake line fitting pressing against the steering knuckle. To resolve this clearance issue, either perform minor grinding on the knuckle at the contact point or upgrade to aftermarket stainless steel braided brake lines equipped with curved banjo fittings.
- Caliper Orientation & Bleeding Step: On the FL350, the caliper mounts upside down on the bracket to clear suspension and chassis components. To bleed the hydraulic circuit properly, you must unbolt the caliper and turn it right side up so the bleeder screw is at the absolute highest point; otherwise, air will remain trapped in the piston bore.
- Bleeding Technical Warning: FL350 front brakes are notoriously stubborn to bleed. Due to minimal vertical height difference between the master cylinder and the calipers, combined with long horizontal runs in the brake lines, air bubbles resist moving downward through the system. It often takes multiple bleeding sessions and patience to establish a solid lever or pedal feel. Reverse pressure injection or vacuum bleeding is highly recommended.
- Availability & Lead Time: These kits are generally kept in stock. If temporarily out of stock, they are made to order with an estimated 2 to 4 weeks production turnaround.
Transform Your FL350 Odyssey with Front Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Ditch the outdated, fade-prone factory drum brakes on your Honda Odyssey FL350 and bring real, confidence-inspiring hydraulic stopping power to your front end. The original cable-and-drum front setup is notoriously weak, prone to pulling to one side, and fades dramatically when exposed to water, mud, or the heat of aggressive trail riding. Installing a front disc conversion is widely considered one of the single most important safety and performance upgrades for any FL350 build.
Our complete bolt-on conversion delivers linear, predictable feedback, massive clamping force, and consistent heat dissipation so you can stop safely from trail or dune speeds.
Complete Bolt-On Kit Includes:
- Heavy-duty CNC-cut caliper mounting brackets (specifically geometry-cleared for the FL350 spindle)
- Dual-piston hydraulic brake calipers
- Matching high-grade stainless front brake rotors
- Pre-installed high-friction brake pad sets
- All required high-tensile mounting hardware
