Ambient Temp Gauge Parts & Wiring
MaxTow Double Vision™ Ambient Air Temperature Gauges for trucks feature sensor and power harnesses with extended lengths for added flexibility during installation. The sensor harness is 18’ and the power harness is 5’, assuring you’ll have more than enough wiring for a seamless install. Easily attach both harnesses to the back of this outside air temperature gauge for trucks by utilizing Plug and Play connectors.
Double Vision™ Series Features
MaxTow White & Blue Double Vision™ Gauges feature a white gauge dial and blue LED display with an illuminated red needle. Get the classic look of an analog gauge combined with a blue digital numerical readout. This 2-1/16” (52mm) gauge is equipped with stepper motor technology which allows for all needle movement to be exceptionally smooth and all gauge readings to be extremely accurate. Brightness Recall retains the previous brightness setting before the truck is powered down.
Air Temp Sensor
This Ambient Air Temp Gauge Sensor has a Built-In Mounting Clip which allows the sensor to be mounted to the front of the truck on the radiator support using an existing bolt or screw.

Outside Air Temperature Gauge For Trucks
After receiving multiple requests from owners of older-style trucks, we made it a priority to add this gauge to our lineup. Outside temperature can affect the way your engine performs. Even though your truck is built to manage temperature fluctuations, extreme temperatures can equate to a loss in horsepower, reduced fuel economy, overheating, engine knocking, and more. Knowing the temperature of the air entering your engine will help determine if your engine is performing optimally. With this diesel truck gauge, you’ll have access to precise outside air temp readouts in relation to the temperature inside your cabin.
Truck Ambient Air Temperature Gauge
Although many newer trucks already have an ambient air temperature sensor installed, a lot of classic models do not. This sensor has a built-in mounting clip which allows it to be mounted to the front of the truck on the radiator support using an existing bolt or screw. The sensor can also be mounted behind the truck’s grill or bumper as long as air passes over it. No matter which location you choose, ensure the sensor is mounted where it will be free of any obstructions that could block outside air from passing over it.
