Upgrading the suspension has always been the single most effective performance improvement for the Honda Odyssey FL350R. The factory Showa shocks were engineered in the mid-1980s and are notorious for poor valving and excessively harsh spring rates. This issue is especially severe in the rear, where the rock-hard OEM dampers effectively eliminate usable suspension travel, punishing both the driver and the frame over rough terrain.
