FL350 Carb Rebuild Service
Important Service, Parts & Billing Terms:
- Service Labor Only (Parts Billed Separately): The price paid at checkout covers professional teardown, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, and reassembly labor only. Replacement parts (jets, needle/seat, gaskets, o-rings, float components) are not included in the base fee. Parts costs typically range from a few dollars to $100+ depending on the internal condition of your carburetor.
- Parts Estimate & Payment: Once your carburetor is fully disassembled and evaluated, we will contact you with an itemized parts quote and a secure payment link. Reassembly begins once parts approval and payment are completed.
- Non-Refundable Inspection Fee: If your carburetor is deemed non-rebuildable due to severe internal corrosion/body damage, or if you choose not to proceed after receiving your parts quote, the base service fee is non-refundable due to the dedicated labor required to disassemble, clean, and inspect the unit. Your carburetor will be returned reassembled to the extent possible.
- Shipping Logistics: Customers are responsible for shipping their carburetor inbound to our shop. The shipping fee paid at checkout covers tracked, insured return shipping back to you.
- No Core Exchanges: We rebuild and return your exact original unit. We do not offer core swaps.
Restore Crisp Throttle Response & Reliable Idle to Your FL350
Is your vintage Honda Odyssey FL350R suffering from an erratic idle, lean bogging, fuel overflows, or hard starting? Modern ethanol-blended fuels and years of sitting idle wreak havoc on the factory 32mm Mikuni round-slide carburetor. Gummy varnish clogs micro-passages, rubber o-rings harden, and brass components wear out of tolerance, putting your two-stroke engine at serious risk of leaning out under load.
Our dedicated carburetor rebuild service focuses strictly on internal mechanical and hydraulic integrity. We disassemble your original carburetor down to every individual screw and jet, clear all internal circuits ultrasonically, evaluate every mating surface, and rebuild the unit to proper factory tolerances so your Odyssey runs reliably on the trail.
How the Rebuild Process Works:
- Order & Shipping Details: Complete your purchase online. Please contact us with your order number, and we will provide the shipping address and packaging guidelines for sending your carburetor to our facility.
- Inbound Shipment: Pack your carburetor securely (be sure to drain all fuel completely before packaging) and ship it using a tracked, insured carrier of your choice.
- Teardown & Ultrasonic Cleaning: We completely strip the carburetor and place all fuel circuits, emulsion tubes, and jet passages through a thorough multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning cycle.
- Inspection & Parts Quote: We inspect the slide, needle jet, float assembly, and body casting for wear or damage. We will contact you with a detailed breakdown of necessary replacement parts and a payment link for the balance.
- Reassembly & Baseline Bench Setup: Once parts are confirmed and paid, we reassemble your carburetor with fresh components, set the factory float height, verify needle clip positioning, and establish baseline pilot screw adjustments.
- Return Delivery: Your refreshed carburetor is carefully packaged and shipped back to your door using the return shipping paid during checkout.
Service Details & Limitations:
- Mechanical Focus: This is a precision mechanical restoration designed for peak engine performance and reliability. It does not include exterior polishing, vapor blasting, or cosmetic detailing.
- No DIY Kits Available: Because OEM Mikuni replacement components for the FL350 must be sourced individually from multiple specialty suppliers, we do not offer a packaged DIY rebuild kit.
- Severe Corrosion Warning: Carburetors with excessive galvanic corrosion, stripped body casting threads, or cracked towers may be unserviceable. If you suspect severe damage, please reach out to us prior to shipping.
Give your vintage FL350 the fuel metering precision it needs. Order your rebuild service today and get your machine back to running at peak performance!
